It is one of my favorite days of the year, National Donut Day! If you don’t love donuts, I may seriously question you. I have to say, I loved donuts before they became trendy and I will still love them even when they are no longer trendy. Serious die-hard donut fan over here…
There are a few things that I love more than donuts and that is the little people in my life. I have been blessed with so many nephews and nieces and it is so fun being their auntie. I have the pleasure of photographing the milestones in their lives and it is always so fun! For Aria’s first birthday, my sister decided to do a “donut smash” rather than a cake smash. I always wonder what babies are thinking when their parents put a plate full of treats in front of them for their first birthday cake smash. It was a lot of fun watching Aria carefully grab the donuts. Her older siblings were watching with their mouths open wondering when it would be their turn. They couldn’t believe mom was letting Aria eat that plate of donuts!
There are a lot of creatives in my family and my sister Noelle is one of them! She is an incredible seamstress and I brag about her all the time. She runs a clothing boutique for little girls called Sew Fun Boutique and she sews the cutest dresses and rompers. As you can guess, she sewed Aria’s romper for this shoot. It was so perfect and insanely cute!
